Day 1: CSIA 8 hour course on Chimney Fires: Causes, Effects, and Evaluation (the White Paper) presented by CSIA Director of Education Ashley Eldridge
Everything from chimney anatomy to how to diagnose chimney fire damage to dealing with insurance policies. “Chimney Fires” will equip attendees with the knowledge of how and why chimney fires happen, and what to do when evidence of one is found.
Day 2: CSIA Health & Safety in the morning and a CPR/AED Certification class in the afternoon
- The Health and Safety course is geared towards employers and employees alike. Topics covered: creation of a company safety policy, federally-required health and safety policies, employee training, and safe tool operation. Students will learn how to apply safety policies in everyday life and on the job.
- CPR and AED training includes getting your cards that day. Know what to do when the need arises.
